Privacy Policy
This site collects as little as it possibly can. There is no account to create, no newsletter you were signed up to without noticing, and no advertising network watching you.
What we collect
Anonymous page statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, referrers, countries and device types. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not follow you across sites. We cannot identify an individual visitor from it. That is precisely why we chose it.
Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests and keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We do not have access to those in a form that would let us identify you.
Email you send us. If you write to hello@toolsworthit.com, we keep the message so we can reply and so we have a record of corrections. Ask us to delete it and we will.
What we do not do
- No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no social media trackers.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data. There is nothing to sell.
- No newsletter sign-up unless you explicitly ask for one.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. If your browser later shows a cookie from a site you reached through a link here, that cookie was set by them, not by us.
When you click a link out
Links to sellers pass through toolsworthit.com/go/, which does nothing but count the click and forward you. Once you arrive you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy and their cookies. We have no control over what they collect and we do not receive it. Read their policy if it matters to you — it should.
Children
This site is written for adults making buying decisions. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or a U.S. state with a privacy statute, you have rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. In our case the only personal data we are likely to hold is an email you sent us. Write to hello@toolsworthit.com and we will act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
