About Tools Worth It

Tools Worth It exists for one reason: shopping for AI and SaaS tools online means wading through pages that never quite say the price, never say what the thing is bad at, and were last updated two years ago.

How we research

Every page here is built the same way. We would rather tell you the method than claim an authority we have not earned:

• Pricing comes from the vendor's own page, read on the date printed next to the table. If we have not re-checked recently, that date says so.
• Specifications come from the manufacturer or the official documentation, not from other blogs.
• Weaknesses come from public reviews and support threads — the complaints that repeat, not the one-star outliers.
• Every page names at least two alternatives, including ones that pay us nothing.

What we do not do

We do not claim to have personally used a product unless we say so explicitly and describe what we did with it. Most pages here are research-based comparisons, and they say so at the top. A page that fakes hands-on experience is worth nothing to you, and we would rather be useful than impressive.

We also do not accept payment to change a verdict, drop a drawback, or move a product up a table. Brands are welcome to correct a factual error. That is the whole of it.

How the site makes money

Affiliate commissions. When you follow a link from here to a seller and buy something, we may be paid a percentage of it. You pay the same price either way. That is the entire business model, set out in detail on the affiliate disclosure page.

The obvious conflict is that we get paid when you buy. Our defence against it is the alternatives table on every page and the drawbacks section we refuse to soften. If we ever point you at something that turns out to be bad, tell us and the page changes.
